The Lunar Pilots are back!!
The Pilot's welcome new lead guitarist David Elsworth and drummer
Tony Mitchell. The last few months the band auditioned a number
of hopefuls and have found true muso expertise
and creativity.
The band would like to say farewell to Leon and John and thank
them for their great contribution over the last year or so.
The new line up have been busy working on the backbone of the
existing set with subtle changes and some interesting new
riffs
and solos, resulting in improved versions of some of the popular
tracks.
There are also new songs written so watch this space!
To kick start the new Lunar Pilots launch the band have booked up
the
start of the summer tour with the gigs listed below. Following
the
success of the band last year at the 02 Academy showcase
(videos
available to view here: www.myspace.com/thelunarpilots)
the
band have immediately been offered a prestigious showcase event
by friday street music at the 229 club. The pilots would like everyone
that can to come along and support them, your support could make
all the difference!

This great local pub 5 evening/day festival keeps growing
and
the pilots
make their debut this year on the Saturday
at 7pm.

Friday Street Music presents an industry showcase of great original music.
No tickets, pay on the door but you will need to confirm
you are
going prior to the event and your lunar representative
will put
your
name on the guest list to get in for £7 (before 8pm).
There
will
be industry people at this event and therefore your support
is
imperitive. Those of you that went to the 02 Academy can expect
a
similar calibre event!
On stage time 9.30pm.
